MTET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
For Lower Primary (Class I-V)
- Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2 years of Diploma in Elementary Education OR
- Higher Secondary with at least 45% marks and 2 years of Diploma in Elementary Education OR
- Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4 years of B.El.ED OR
- Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2 years of Diploma in Education (Special Education)
For Upper Primary (Class VI-VIII)
- Graduation or Post Graduation with at least 50% Marks and D.El.Ed/ B.Ed OR
- Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary education (B.El.Ed) OR
- Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4 years B.A/B.Sc. ED or B.A.ED/B.Sc.ED OR
- Graduation with 50% Marks and 1 year B.Ed (Special education)
Note: Relaxation up to 5% in the Qualifying Marks in the Minimum Educational Qualification to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD Category
Structure and Content Areas for MTET 2023
- All Questions will be MCQs Each carrying 1 mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct
